Message set your multimeter to DC voltage
-zero your test leads
-place the negative test lead on ground -leave it there the entire test
-place the positive test lead on the negative terminal =should read the same as zero'd test leads
-place the positive test lead on the positive battery post (the terminal made of lead)=should read battery voltage
-place the positive test lead on the white wire which is supposed to be connected to the positive cable aka the thick ass starter wire = should read battery voltage
-finally unplug the big blue fuse and touch the test lead to both sides of where it plugs into, one side should read battery voltage, the other side should read 0 or out of limits.
-post your findings when you're through.
